Waiting for Kate Bush

I know a few of you out there are Kate Bush fans like myself, so here is a sprinkling of infos from here and there including some updates about her forthcoming album, a book that came out last year and a brilliant piece in the Times which you'll enjoy reading that gives lots of personal background-y stuff from Kate herself.

Did you know Kate has a cat named Pyewackit?

That was the name of the magical cat or "familiar" of Gillian in the film Bell, Book and Candle and was also the name of my mother's cat when she was back in college.

Well, I'm sure we shall all continue to wait patiently out of our sheer love and admiration for her, but it's certainly refreshing to hear the clock is ticking just a wee bit louder these days concerning the progress on the new album.

I just know that something good is going to happen.
And I don’t know when,
But just saying it could even make it happen.
