Ok, momentarily breaking the silence here because laughter is imperative. Reading through my favorite stops today while I'm busy here at work, and although most everyone is still posting hurricane info and stories (for obvious reasons), there were a few chuckles here and there that were much needed so I'm going to re-post one of them here for a quick laff.
From The Sneeze which somehow has fallen off my radar, of late, but it's always worth checking because of its valuable humourous content (via monochrom):
A little something called Steve, don't eat it! where someone named Steve gives the play-by-play on several bizarro eating experiments (with photos). Warning-- make sure you don't read this before, during or possibly directly after eating. This bit particularly cracked me up (yes, pun intended!):
"While I cannot endorse the eating of Pickled Pork Rinds, I do endorse playing with it like a puzzle. I did have some fun trying to put the pig back together, but eventually that got boring as I lost the will to live."
