Three big events highlight this here Fireweek: the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 1, Mercury's direct station on December 3, and a Mars-Jupiter opposition on December 4. The Sagittarius New Moon is always a high-energy event, but this one is hyped up by a square from Uranus and sideswiped by a quincunx from Mars. However, a supportive trine from stabilizing Saturn might keep this rocket from veering too far off course. Mercury kicks into forward gear in Scorpio, telling secrets - though in a quiet voice; the voice will grow louder when the communication planet returns to Sagittarius on December 12. The powerful Mars-Jupiter opposition fuels New Moon intentions with enough energy to sustain fresh ideas for months to come. Sag the Archer aims his arrows of desire for the heavens, searching for something beyond the bounds of physical existence. Depicted as a centaur, he is playing Hybrid, uniting man and nature, heaven and earth, intellect and instinct. The ninth sign seeks to bridge (where is that confounded bridge?) and integrate seemingly separate levels of Metaverse, the domain of philosophy and religion. Following Scorpio, Sagittarius strives to rise above the deep waters of the unconscious and discern the meaning of life. Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, is now in Scorpio, exaggerating and enlightening what has been held in the dark.
Use the energy of this New Moon to become empty and open. Listen deeply. Welcome the fertile dark mystery of the Moon, for "in the empty spaces - lacunae, vacuums, pauses, voids, black holes ... new things begin ... (we are born anew) from the unexplored spaces, the badlands, the outlaw territory. The word "matter" comes from the same root as the word for "mother" (mat). In the beginning was the Word, but also the Mother, the cosmic womb from which all life springs. This is where you let me ... no - you won't even let me do that here, will you.
New Moons invite us to rediscover the fertile void, the place within us that has infinite intelligence and creativity to begin moving "matter" around with our thoughts, to know how awareness arose as simple recursion -"a spin path to the zero point" among the waves. This will give us a sense of how matter got named (what's the MATTER? "hey, emotional needs are just as vital to security as are cold, hard, practical considerations!.") We may then put number one priority on maximizing electrical spin density in our lifestyle, so that we can increase our psychokinetic service activity to the "galactic core" or center in principle of all spin. Mind inhabiting pressure nests among waves is a trick which becomes livable, when we see that our own thoughts are the only infinitely distributable spin, and thus they become the key for memory and awareness to survive forever. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 The time to put ourselves in the pilot's seat of our own personal Lightcraft and make some course corrections if we've veered off course. What would you like to boost in your life? And what would you like to reduce or eliminate? A hard square from erratic Uranus to the New Moon makes this an explosive event. Retrograde Mars in Taurus is still balky, especially in a cranky quincunx to the Sun-Moon conjunction. Sagittarius' ruler Jupiter opposes that Mars, raising the tides of tension if we fall short of expectations and project blame on others. However, inventive capacities are high now, with solid Saturn forming a helping trine with the lunation that can channel emerging flashes of insight constructively. Similarly, the integrating North Node in Aries also trines the New Moon, casting light on fresh paths of independent action that bypass old obstacles in relationships.
A Mars-Pluto sesquiquadrate (135°) suggests that some letting go may be required to get your New Moon intentions off the ground. Untangling yourself from old power struggles and reducing financial obligations (or redirecting your resources) can free you up to fly higher than you've ever gone before. Saturn in Leo trine the New Moon is a sign of self-trust; play the heroic captain to direct the intense feelings and wild ideas exploding around you now. At 8° Scorpio, Jupiter forms a waning semi-square (45°) to Pluto in Sagittarius, signaling the close of a cycle and a way of life. For the next year, Jupiter and Pluto will be in mutual reception (transiting each other's associated signs), instigating a double dose of disenchantment but also liberation from lies and limited perspectives. Both Jupiter in Scorpio and Pluto in Sagittarius offer peace and wholeness, if we can face the shadows and fears that are dogging us. Mars at 9° Taurus is closely opposite Jupiter (exact on December 4); contradictions intensify and priorities shift as the God of War approaches the close of his ten-week retrograde period (he stations direct on December 9).
Hollow laughter in marble halls, steps have been taken, a silent uproar has unleashed the dogs of war. You've got some "Star-Spangled" nails in your coffin, kid. That's what they've done for you, son., We've been re-evaluating our bottom lines and security issues since Mars turned retrograde on October 1. The grand cross formed by Mars's opposition to Jupiter and square to Saturn in Leo and Neptune in Aquarius compels us to question our most fundamental assumptions of reality. What if peace and abundance were our birthright? What if we knew we were immortal, eternal Spirits, utterly safe and protected unless we choose to create otherwise? What we believe, we experience. By Jove (the Roman name for Jupiter), knowledge is power, and this grand cross pushes us to find the real answers to our problems. Jupiter trines Uranus at 7° Pisces, making it easier to think outside the box and glimpse the bigger picture. Pluto sesquiquadrates both Mars and Saturn, exposing power plays and the need to align our personal will with higher principles. (A sesquiquadrate is a 135° aspect, which is a square and a half: 90 + 45 = 135.) Scorpio Mercury's investigation exposes new information and new conclusions as he nears the end of his retrograde phase, which began on November 13 and ends on December 3.
The Sabian symbol for 10° Sagittarius also counsels us to carefully examine conventional wisdom and goals:

We are conditioned from birth to see what is possible, desirable, and real. After years of hearing the Big Lies, Americans, and even Congress, is finally seeing the truth about Iraq. The truth is out: there was never a "Coalition of the Willing," in fact, there was never really a true coalition at all. The truth is out, and it can't be denied any longer. We are the occupiers of Iraq, not the imaginary Coalition of the Willing. In this case, the truth doesn't just hurt, it kills. It's finally Wizard of Oz time in America. You know - that moment when the curtains are pulled back, the fearsome-looking wizard wreathed in all that billowing smoke turns out to be some pitiful little guy, and everybody looks around sheepishly, wondering why they acted as they did for so long.
This New Moon offers us the choice of taking the red pill or the blue, the choice to see the truth - or remain in the illusion. "Everyone must decide whether he wants the uncompromising truth or a counterfeit version of truth. Real wisdom consists of recommending the truth to yourself at every opportunity." Iraqis face the dire prospect of losing up to $200bn (£116bn) of the wealth of their country if an American-inspired plan to hand over development of its oil reserves to US and British multinationals comes into force next year. A report produced by American and British pressure groups warns Iraq will be caught in an "old colonial trap" if it allows foreign companies to take a share of its vast energy reserves. The report is certain to reawaken fears that the real purpose of the 2003 war on Iraq was to ensure its oil came under Western control. Next year, we should all go to the polls and vote against every single incumbent running for re-election, regardless of his or her party or so-called philosophy. What a shock it would be if all 435 members of the U.S. House and the third of the Senate that will be running were defeated? FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2 The Day of Venus in the week of Fire. In the Western Mystery Tradition, the most pervasive polyamorous archetype is Aphrodite, Greek goddess of Love and Beauty. She is Venus, Ishtar, Astarte, Inanna and relates to the sephera Netzach on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. While she had more lovers than any other Greek goddess she was not victimized and never suffered from her numerous love affairs as did many of the other goddesses. Neither was she jealous or possessive. Unlike her counterparts she was allowed freely to choose both her husband and many lovers. She inspired poetry, communication and art as well as love. Her liaison with Hermes produced the bisexual Hermaphroditus. and her long time union with Mars (God of War) produced a daughter, Harmonia. Thus Love and War combined to give rise to Harmony. In both the Kabbalah and in Islamic tradition the number 7 represents the planetary sphere of Venus as well as Universal Nature. Seven is a quarter division of the Lunar cycle of 28 days and so becomes the rhythm of the week. Order will be reinforced when the Moon enters Capricorn at 5:42 p.m., when the Moon enters Capricorn at 5:42 p.m., followed by an exact Sun-Saturn trine (11° 12' Sagittarius-Leo) later tonight. Capricorn is not interested in dreams that cant be turned into reality, so we can expect another round of quality control, to separate fact from fantasy. The Sun-Saturn trine aligns the will with the wherewithal to serve constructive purposes. Drive a tank through the supermarket window, then brake your nails playing rotting clavichords, then hurl a series of ellipsoid bannister-mounts against the schoolhouse wall.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3 Mercury's direct station (at 24° 44' Scorpio) this evening is a subtle shift in the ethers. Planets are virtually still at their turning points. There may then be a quieting of the mind, a meditative emptiness rich in potential and void of words. Silence can be deadly in a social setting, but it is a vein of gold in spiritual work. Take a moment, if you can, to tap into it: Get some quiet time by yourself. The mind starts focusing more on the future than the past as the communication planet turns direct. Yet progress may be slow until Mercury leaves deep, dense Scorpio behind on December 9. Tie up loose ends between now and then.
The Lightcraft is a self-evolving planetary holon. This fourth-dimensional planetary holon possesses a design and field of motion encoded with solar-galactic information. The information coding the Lightcraft is the same information encoded in the galactic calendar. A Lightpilot using the galactic calendar can simultaneously tune into the design of the planetary holon. By tracking the galactic calendar and tuning in to the planetary holon, Lightpilots become part of Earth's design team. Riding the g-force and synchronizing with the larger Metaversal order, Earth's frequency inevitably changes and its poles shift. The Earth's current frequency is 7.8 Hz. Beginning August 11, 1999, the Earth's resonant frequency has become increasingly dissonant. The dissonance is due to the inadequacy of the human's third-dimensional field in relation to the Earth's fourth-dimensional planetary holon. By its own timing, Earth is now approaching a higher frequency level, 8.0 Hz. When the frequency reaches 8.0 Hz, Earth will experience a pole shift in order to stabilize the new frequency. At 8011 Hz timeship Earth will be streamlined to operate according to galactic standards.
To take advantage of the frequency increase and the imminent pole shift, humans must first experience a time shift. The time shift will mark that point when humans correct their own calendar returning it to its original thirteen month, 52 week cycle. Synchronized with the galactic calendar, this solar-lunar Metaversal calendar will function as a conversion template. Eight annual cycles of the new solar-lunar Metaversal calendar, will provide the time necessary for any Lightpilot to convert from materialism to the planetary art of galactic time. The pole shift will be the culmination of this conversion template calendar. The adventure this holds for humanity is inconceivable within the limited understanding of third-dimensional time. This adventure will be the result of the conversion of "time is money" to "time is art." The difference between time as money and time as art is the difference between time as quantity and time as quality. The holon is the key to returning quality to time. The holon is to galactic time what the machine is to mechanized time.
Every human is born with a third-dimensional body and a fourth-dimensional Lightcraft. The physical body is the biological conductor. The Lightctraft is the time transport unit. The body and its Lightcraft are inseparable. The biological conductor sustains the sensory nervous system, the human instrument for processing the full range of experience. The experience of the body is synchronized within the Metaversal Lightcraft. The Lightcraft is the physical body's coded experience in time. The body in time with its Lightcraft is art.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4 Mercury and Venus form a supportive sextile (24° 47' Scorpio-Capricorn), the widest aspect possible between these two inner planets. Conversation about love, the arts, and personal values can flow easily, but the content may be heavy with meaning. The Mars-Jupiter opposition later in the day (8° 25' Taurus-Scorpio) is more like a Viking raid than an intellectual exercise. Aggression is possible, whether mental or physical, so find healthy outlets for the stored-up tension. Fighting for a cause certainly makes sense, yet its always useful to recognize where your personal issues influence your political motives. Putting your own story into the picture tempers zealotry and reduces the potential for psychic violence.
At 7:36 p.m., the Moon enters Aquarius, a cooling force that may tone down the fiery Mars-Jupiter opposition turning you into a double-bacon geniusburger. However, there is a true believer side to this sign that belies its open-minded reputation. Aquarius can use so-called logic to deny the emotions that are fueling its arguments. Now you can establish a rococo nerve lattice among the quarantined survivors of Operation: Rapture, or stamp down a huge and perfect Mandelbrot Set with your homies in a popular wheatfield, then feed raspberries to carp, then (and you may not believe this, but we don't care) you might see Yma Sumac buying nail polish at the Glass Vulture Merchant Plaza.
I hope this isn't an awkward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. MONDAY, DECEMBER 5 Chiron re-enters Aquarius, after revisiting Capricorn in early August. The Centaur will now stay in the fixed air sign until 2010. The short-term effects will not be dramatic, but in the long term, we may heal our broken sense of community and loss of collective ideals. Ideals frozen by intellect and drained of compassion may dry up and blow away. Theories crumble at the sound of crying hearts as we warm our minds with emotions for which we have no words. Political walls weaken while we search for our humanity among competing camps of outmoded concept. This is the only significant event today, but since the Moon is also in this sign, the social issues associated with the Water Bearer may reach consciousness now.
Aquarius represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 12 weeks to 28 weeks after Conception, when the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on. On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Meteversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Aquarius represents the higher Self projecting itself to the world tribe, through media, groups, circles of friends (your Tribe) and utopian aims and idealistic pursuits alter the prevailing social systems. On the World scale, Aquarius occupies the period between AD 1840 and 1910. This was the time when the established dominance of the material world in Capricorn quickly required more sophisticated planning, spurred by Schopenhauer, ideas and beliefs from the east began flooding the West through such diverse channels as the Theosophical Society, the Golden Dawn, and the operas of Wagner. This was the time of Croweley, Nietzsche, and the early works of Freud.
With the Full Moon in Aquarius we have the ability to combine East and West, Light and Dark, Sun and Moon. This is where we are compelled to reach out to others and network. There are injustices in the world that we ignore most days of the year, but today man's inhumanity to man in school, at work, or on the other side of the globe can feel like a critical issue. First you call everything names, then when you run out of names you call them numbers, and when you run out of numbers you call the police. They'll give you a series of classified numbers in exchange for a suitable amount of disinformation, and off you go again, railing spools of numerals at countless items, some of which you'll have to hallucinate in order to satisfy the quota you've been granted. TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6 The Sun semi-squares Chiron today, revealing the vulnerability of ego. Again, its tempting to couch personal matters in universal terms to deny ones pain and project it on society. Yet, each of us carries uncertainty, and now is the time to embrace it with compassion for ourselves, not just for others. At 9:44 p.m., the Moon enters Pisces, followed by a Sun-Neptune sextile (15° 18' Sagittarius-Aquarius). These related events (Neptune is the ruler of Pisces) mark a shift from airy ideas to watery experiences. The Moon sails through Pisces today. Pisces represents, on the level of the first octave, the period between 28 weeks after Conception till Birth, when after the electrick nervous system of the fetus switches on (Aquarius), we become psychically tuned to the entity later to be known as Mother.
On the level of the fourth octave (see Chapter 9 of the Meteversal Lightcraft Training Manual for more on the Four Octaves), Pisces represents the enlightened Self which must give itself totally to the whole, dissolving into the void, in order to achieve the final unity with the realm of pure spirit. On the World scale, Pisces occupies the period between 1910 and 1969. heralded by the founding of Psychoanalysis, when Mankind began exploring again the Unconscious strata of Life, and by Albert Einstein's (a Pisces) Theory of Relativity. This was the time of Jung, Joyce, Hesse, Huxley, Leary, Burroughs. We transcend the limits the illusion, Maya, the physical World of Assiah, extending inward with the electron microscope and outward with the high powered Telescope. The entire range of audible musical notes and the whole spectrum of visible colour, apprehended and understood. The dissolving power of mutable Water, Second coming of the Fish with the Double Wand of Power, Atom Bomb and LSD. With the Moon in Pisces we have a heightened sensitivity to Musick and the Dreamtime, and we feel the depths of pure compassion for the Metaverse and it's inhabitants. Although there is a distinctly dreamy feel at this time, the favorable aspect between the Sun and Neptune may help us to articulate our concerns in a spiritual perspective, thus transforming pain into understanding.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7 The incenses attributed to Mercury and the sephirah Hod are Storax and fresh White-out. The Power of Mercury in Atziluth (Fire) is THE ABILITY TO CONCEPTUALIZE. Mercury is the Word, the Logos in the highest, the direct means of connection between polarities: yet he is in himself indifferent to all things, as the electrick current is indifferent to the meaning of the messages which are transmitted by it's means. Mercury teaches (by demonstration), the animation of Eidolons, the magick indwelling of icons by Spirit. The Jupiter-Pluto semi-square (9° 00' Scorpio - 24° 00' Sagittarius) is exact today, but the breadth of the former and the depth of the latter tend to obscure its immediate effects.
You will finally be cleared of wrongdoing in the infamous "Bloodbath At Bala Hissar," when the Royal British Marines admit it happened 130 years before you were born.
