You needn't dress in any but the most perfunctory manner nor bring any crickets (there will be plenty of those!) The Sun and Moon are in the last degree of Libra at the begining of this Lunar cycle. The name Libra comes from the Libyan Goddess of Holy Law who carried the scales of judgment, and her counterpart in Egypt was Maat, the spirit of equilibrium, of justice, truth and rightness. She lived within a person and also existed outside and so was known as the 'double Maat,' encompassing both individual and cosmic consciousness. After death the Egyptians believed that the heart was weighed against a feather in the scales of Maat. Maat was no dispenser of punishment, however; she was the personification of truth, the spirit that animates all living beings, both divine and human. If the heart were too heavy then, without blame or punishment, the soul would return to earth to reincarnate until light enough for final liberation. Maat had no temple because she could not be confined; she was the natural order itself. To be in accord with natural truth and justice creates harmony, and Maat symbolized this quality. This cycle the cosmic spotlight focuses on relationships and balance.
New alliances form, healthy associations deepen, and unproductive affiliations fall away as the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter pass through Libra and Scorpio, the signs most concerned with partnership and transformation. Once upon a time, there was a peaceful kingdom. The King, Queen, Prince and Princess were all polite and courteous and had the best table manners. Every day at 3:30pm, they had English Breakfast tea, currant scones with clotted cream, and little cucumber-horseradish sandwiches with the crusts cut off. They were always careful not to hurt each other's feelings. The prince, being young and naturally full of testosterone, at times had difficulty expressing his anger, so he was unfortunately an ineffective prince, often flip-flopping and appearing indecisive. His father, the King, was quite good at creating peace accords with neighboring kingdoms, and was admired throughout all the lands for the decor of his castle, the adornments and embellishments that made one feel that all was beautiful in the world. However, he too, lacked some of the fire that he needed to be the powerful ruler he wanted to be. Yet, the Queen was right by his side, and he was surrounded by his devoted children, so all was right in the kingdom Such an example the royal family made that all the creatures in their kingdom were affected. The ruling family decreed a holiday on the 22nd day of the 10th month of the year 2006, in which every subject would have the opportunity for a new start, so long as their new beginnings created balance and beauty, and that in their initiatives they took care not to tread over the rights of any other subject in the kingdom.

The Bull shall start an apprenticeship, attend to his health, and be organized in his daily routine
The Twins shall play and romance the maidens and gamble and be merry
The Crab shall cook a bountiful meal and feed her family in front of the cozy warmth of the hearth
The Lion shall write and converse and ride his chariot around the kingdom, making merry small talk with the other creatures
The Virgin shall take stock of her possessions, and value herself for her God-given gifts
Justice shall visit the Royal Family herself, for it is her day to bask in the glories of beauty and grace
The Scorpion shall withdraw into his shell, to study his Dreams and seek at-one-ness with God Almighty
The Archer shall make merry with his friends, and keep in mind his aspirations to help the Kingdom
The Goat shall do what the Goat does best, which is to climb to the top of the highest mountain in the Kingdom
The Water-bearer shall travel to distant lands, and take up study in the most prestigious academies of higher learning
The Fish shall lay down with her husband, invoking the Mysteries to experience la petit mort in their ecstatic union
However, a strange-looking creature -- half man, half horse -- disrupted their holiday. He had a long mane of hair, and wore New-Agey robes, and claimed that all the subjects in the kingdom -- as well as the Royal Family themselves -- were using their facade of courtesy and pleasing manners to cover over their deeper wounds. How will the subjects of this kingdom make a new start in the their lives with the uneasy knowledge that this odd fellow wants to rain on their parade? The 7th house (Libra) has been called the house of marriage. The key to the New Aeon of MA'AT is figuring out the new symbol for Libra, as the institution of marriage was originally designed as a tool by the Church to secure it's future domination. Those that cannot find this new symbol and perform these symbolic rites on themselves and their tribe, and the whole fabric of material being, will inherit only the blues, decay, and husks. Think more in terms of partnership and remember, your heart must be light as a feather. Take this time to be good to your Libra ruled kidneys. These amazing organs filter some 400-500 hundred gallons of blood a day. Lemons, beets, cranberry juice and cabbage and leafy vegetables are all healing to your kidneys. We should not underestimate the power of Earthritual/ interlock/ and the focused magnetism of emotion. If we would like less catastrophic weather change, this is specifically the engineering we must learn.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21This is a super-Libra day. This is the last day of the moon cycle, and it’s last call to finish cleaning up our Virgo acts—but in Libra mode. Balance is the key here. Clean out your desk, for instance, but don’t get too picky about it. Energy can be super super-loving tonight. New Moon occurs at 10:14 p.m. on the West Coast. Lady Luna immediately conjoins Mars, and then moves into Scorpio at 12:54 a.m. A Mars-filled Moon moves into Scorpio now, and tomorrow both Sun and Mars enter Scorpio. On Wednesday, Venus joins them. It appears that with this new moon, we end diplomacy, and begin power plays. However, the new moon IS in Libra, all of these planets are just finishing passing through Libra, and so the power plays are all about relationships. For instance, the dark side of politics gets a real jump start now.And this switch is a powerhouse in itself. This New Moon sits exactly on Black Hole Pele. Venus and Mars are there as well. Black holes represent the principle of transubstantiation. They depict areas of susceptibility to dramatic, intense, sometimes violent, and usually unsuspected shifts in the status quo reality, shifts which leave their mark in rite-of-passage type situations. They further show points of energy influx or energy drain. Furthermore, Pele makes an explosive T-square with black holes at the ends of two other cardinal signs, Cancer and Aries. The U.S. Pluto at 28 Capricorn completes a volatile grand cardinal cross. Pele was an ancient Hawaiian goddess of volcanic fire. She personified the female power of destruction, and lived in a vast burrow beneath Mt. Kilauea, Hawaii’s most active volcano. Sun opposed her at the Oklahoma City bombing, and at the Waco confrontation.
Late degrees of cardinal signs are certainly ready to be pushed into action by the black holes associated with this New Moon. Look for a dramatic event which changes our status quo reality. There are two other major stellar events associated with this New Moon. One of them is the approaching Jupiter-Saturn square and the other is a special Mercury-Jupiter in Scorpio conjunction. They are both historic events, last having occurred in the mists of antiquity.The unique thing about the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction is that these two planets will hold this conjunction from today until the U.S. election. It squares Saturn, which adds a governmental influence. Mercury is traveling slowly now, and will turn retrograde on October 28. This conjunction returns on December 10, but in early Sagittarius. This Scorpio Mercury-Jupiter combination concerns political, financial, and sexual matters.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 22The New Moon passes over Mars conjunct the Sun (29 Libra). Just after midnight tonight Mars meets with the Sun in his underworld journey, as the Moon is also passing through. In the context of the larger Mars cycle, the Warrior/Hero in his Quest for Taurus is in the darkest phase of the underworld journey, overwhelmed by the light of the Sun. What attachments in the realm of relationships is our collective, outward, masculine expression being asked to surrender in the dark womb of the New Moon window, in preparation for birthing a new version of sacred receivership? So what do we do today? First of all, make sure that we attend to our spiritual work. We need to stay centered now. Secondly, pay strict attention to being fair in relationships. If you’re uncertain about what’s fair, check it out. Check your own impulses for aggrandizement at someone else’s expense. Relationships are our milieu now, and that is where we are being tested. Thirdly, we could begin a big constructive project, preferably with a team. This is an intense day.
Hard work and critical problem-solving can siphon off some of our need for activity. I hope this isn't an awkward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. MONDAY, OCTOBER 23Moon continues traveling in Scorpio, and the high voltage continues. Every few hours between midnight and noon we put another log on the burning fire. We begin and end with Moon in Scorpio trining Uranus and squaring Neptune, those two planets which draw us into weird spaces and dimensions. The Moon in Scorpio emphasizing the mysteries of sex, death and rebirth, resurrection and renewal, the Phoenix diving into the fire and ash before being reborn. According to legend, the phoenix appears only in peaceful and prosperous times, hiding when there is trouble. It is therefore a sign of peace by its presence and at the same time a symbol of disharmony by its absence. Yet this prosperity symbol chooses, at the end of its long life, to deliberately immolate itself in the sacred fire in order that it might be born anew. The lesson here is that even in the midst of prosperity, we need a renewal stage, a recycling, an interruption of the status quo, a letting go of angels in order that archangels might appear. And if things have been less than prosperous, less than harmonious, then more than ever, we need the purifying fire, the renewing process. Many people fear this process: they resist change, or they want to preserve the appearance of order and harmony at all costs, or they are threatened by disagreements of any sort. But chaos theory teaches us that the greater the chaos, the greater the resulting higher order.Our personal fire may be an illness, a troubled relationship or a financial difficulty. An organization may go through the fire of betrayal by its leaders, mismanagement of various sorts, or changing circumstances that leave it unsuited for the world it must function in. The person or institution "dies," perishing in the flames, and is born anew, better than ever, preserving the best of the past as it flies into the future. If the phoenix dying symbolizes the setting sun, the phoenix rising symbolizes the dawning of a new and brighter day. We rise wiser, better, stronger, more focused on our life's mission. It is interesting to note the Scorpio Moon is occurring during "the days of no shadows" because Scorpio is about bringing the shadow to light for the purpose of empowering our truest most alive and passionate expression.
First we experience Sun conjoined Mars, a vitalizing aspect, setting in motion a 2-year Mars cycle. Mars will be imprinted with today’s energy throughout that cycle. This occurs at 30 Libra, still conjoined Black Hole Pele. Venus is close behind, bringing desire into the intensity of the energy. Spume at her thighs as she rises from the ocean bed. I can have you now by magic or drudgery. All the little elfin figurines have been drugged. Crack them open and spread the dusty paste over your chosen chakras. There are many aspects at this time, including two Fingers of God. Next, Mercury squares Saturn, the obstacle course, while at the same time conjoining Jupiter, the gambler, both in Scorpio. With Mercury, we are very conscious of the Saturn-Jupiter square now occurring. Mercury is on Jupiter’s side, ready for adventure despite warnings of caution.Sun then enters Scorpio, to really bring power to the fore. Jupiter-Mercury are exactly rising in Washington DC at this moment, and Saturn (whom they square) sits above Washington. That historic square is front and center—literally—in the nation’s capital. When Mars enters Scorpio at 9:38 a.m. PDT, it is right over Washington DC, between Sun and Venus. Investigate, listen, learn, but keep your cool. Stay busy. Do physical exercise. If you have time for a nap this afternoon, take one. Sleep might be difficult tonight.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24Mars conjunct Venus (1 Scorpio). Venus and Mars, each pursuing their own particular cycle in the heavens, have been dancing within 10 degrees of each other since October 7. They now come together in their underworld journeys just inside the doorway of Scorpio. The dance will continue through November 12. This is a very juicy and potentially transformative meeting in the sign of life, death, and rebirth. Venus is learning how to bring her dreams into manifestation, building structures that truly support and encourage the life she creates, while Mars is exploring new realms in the fullest expression of beauty and art, intimacy and sacred receivership, realms from which he has been marginalized for millennia. How can they best support each other in this task, teasing out new experiences as they dance in the Underworld? This is a timing that supports the deeply felt expression of our own inner Sacred Marriage—can it be danced, or painted, or--challenge us to let go of what we think we know so space can be made for a new vision of what we aspire to, personally and collectively, which arises directly from not understanding the true electrical alchemic principles of time compression at the end of solar ages- alchemizes the heart - is because the charge densities which accompany the solar maxima (2000- 2012 - climax of the Mayan / Solar calendar) formerly called RAPTURE by Christians - permit only those biological structures ABLE to non-destructively (and ALCHEMICALLY) compress / implode - to survive. In a sense - being squeezed - teaches us the biological hygiene techniques for immortality of infinite compression / acceleration thru the Heart of the Sun.. (When the phase fronts of biological magnetics - particularly the ultraviolet component of DNA emissions - blue fire - interface successfully with the superluminal - faster than light speed - the resultant electrical sustainability is the physics of immortality / ensoulment).
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 25The Day of Mercury in the Week of Fire finds the fleet footed one in the sign of Scorpio.Where Mercury is present, there are no boundaries to ideas. You can take mine into your head as if they were your own. Mercury reminds us that there is a certain dissolving of ownership, a "communion", in all communication and learning. Of the mind, what can we say is genuinely ours and ours alone? Ultimately, all language is a kind of mimetic thievery: the acquisition of most knowledge requires liberal stealing from the wisdom and experience of others. The incenses attributed to Mercury and the sephirah Hod are Storax and fresh White-out. The Power of Mercury in Atziluth (Fire) is THE ABILITY TO CONCEPTUALIZE. Mercury is the Word, the Logos in the highest, the direct means of connection between polarities: yet he is in himself indifferent to all things, as the electrick current is indifferent to the meaning of the messages which are transmitted by it's means. Mercury teaches (by demonstration), the animation of Eidolons, the magick indwelling of icons by Spirit. Jupiter (24 Scorpio) squares Saturn (24 Leo). Jupiter, the planet of expansion joined by Mercury, the planet of communication is magnifying our need to ride the wave of deepest feelings, with no holding back. At the same time, we are being asked to structure our creative impulses (Saturn in Leo). This is an opportunity to bring these forces into a positive working relationship, fueling our creativity from the depths of our emotional experience, and channeling the results through life-affirming structures that bring our creativity into the world for the benefit of ourselves and others.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26Southern Extreme Lunar Standstill window as the waxing Moon travels through mid to late degrees of Sagittarius. The three-day lunar Standstill window began yesterday and is at its peak today. This means the Moon is rising and setting at its furthest Southern point. The Moon is aligning with the Galactic Center, located at 26 degrees Sagittarius. The waxing Crescent Moon (a few days past the New Moon, heading towards the first quarter), invites us to tune in to the messages being sent out from the heart of our galaxy. The Crescent Moon phase, as related to the mythological hero/heroine’s quest, comes after the New Moon call to adventure. In this second phase of the journey, a supernatural aid or protector appears. There is no doubt that we have all been called, individually and collectively, to the next great adventure that the Turning of the Ages is bringing to the Metaverse. We have been hearing the call in our dreamtime, in the political, social, emotional and ecological upheaval all around us. The current three-year Lunar Standstill cycle we are experiencing, of which today’s timing is one small but important part, may indeed be an opportunity for us to receive supernatural (out of bounds!) assistance in the form of energy realignments from the very center of our galaxy.
It helps to remember that it is okay to feel confused, to have no idea where your going, to have no idea what the next step is, to be in the unknown. This is a time for dreaming and visioning giving the incoming visions space and recognition without necessarily acting upon them until you feel clarity from your inner guidance. What is the nature of this inner guidance? First, it is a twin child, the male-female Holy Spirit of the Gnostic Mass, the living fruit of two sexual partners. The Book of Lies teaches that seed and child and parent are mystically one, and that the seed represents the innermost and highest expression of the parent. In the Star Sapphire, a ritual form of the IX, the invocation brings father, mother, son, and daughter (YHVH, above) into one point of mystic union, referred to as Ararita. This daughter-son, the living elixir, is made a sacrifice to the magical goal of the working. Note that it is not metaphorically alive, but literally alive, containing a great quantity of living cells. Thus, for the male magician, it is the sacrifice of "all that he is and all that he has" into the "Cup of Babalon", which is held by the Scarlet Woman of Babylon and in which the blood of the saints is said to be mingled. The inner incubation time is important and knowing when to intuitively act is a part of the process. Even projects already in motion may benefit from releasing attachments to specific pictures or outcomes and allowing for the possibility of even greater expression to unfold.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27The Day of Venus in Fireweek. If you actively invoke blessed HANIEL, the Archangel of Venus into your heart today, you may find you have developed the ability to feel like Khrisna, multiplying himself into a dozen pastoral, naked farmhands with muddy feet and emerald pond scum on their thighs, or maybe you are a young Freya on the back of a panther, eating honey.Venus conjuncts the Sun (4 Scorpio) today. Venus is in the underworld phase of her archetypal journey to integrate Capricorn, the feminine version of the teacher and elder, she who builds structures for society that encourage the development of healthy growth. Today, in the mid-point of her underworld journey, she meets the Sun, dying to her old self so she may begin the process that will lead to her return journey to the middle world. This experience has added richness as it is occurring in this current cycle in the sign of death and rebirth and she is accompanied by all the other personal planets, currently hanging out in Scorpio (Mars, Jupiter and Mercury). This timing encourages us to go inward, contemplating what it is that we are dying to, allowing our body and soul to be transformed on a cellular level, below conscious intent, aided by this intense line-up of planets in the most intense of signs.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28Mercury stations retrograde (25 Scorpio). Mercury has been hanging out in the western sky as an evening star since mid-September. Today it stations retrograde (appearing to stop then moving backward from the point-of-view of the Earth observer). It will continue retrograde for several weeks (until November 18), in the sign of Scorpio. In its current archetypal cycle, exploring Cancer, it will be descending into the underworld in early November, where it will undergo an archetypal shapeshift to Scorpio. Mercury is the planet that symbolizes how the mind works. Both Cancer and Scorpio are water signs, so we are in an extended period where universal mind is intended to work best out of the feeling function. When Mercury goes retrograde it is a time when we are being prompted to let go of dominant society’s insistence on left-brain, linear thought and enter into a more fluid, creative space—closer to the “be here now” of Eastern philosophy. With Mercury in the sign of deep, erotic, elemental feelings (Scorpio), this would be a potent time to let our non-linear Soul lead us in a winding, non-directional dance towards a rebirth of creative thought.
